About me

Marco Marzaduri: open source & self-hosting

I am Marco Marzaduri (Marco Roberto Maria Marzaduri) and I work in computing: cybersecurity, digital forensics and web development. This is my home lab: free software, self-hosted services, a small homelab and a home network built properly.

Every article starts from a concrete question, tackles it with an example and ends with a summary worth keeping at hand.

What I write about here

  • Open source: licences, governance, contributions.
  • Self-hosting: personal services at home.
  • Homelab: hardware, virtualisation, containers.
  • Home networks: Wi-Fi, VLANs, DNS, VPNs.

Report – Rai 3

In 2017 I appeared in the Italian investigative programme Report (Rai 3), in the episode “Un italiano a Panama”. The excerpt is on my YouTube channel.
